At Ibuchi Sunday Elechi Foundation, we adopt the promotion of good citizenship and national unity. Advocacy for Girl-Child rights, especially in the area of fighting against female circumcision and victimization of the Girl-Child is one of our core objectives.

Empowering the youth and educating the unemployed through our various training skill aquisition programs is one of our cardinal aims. Provision of medical assistance to the less privileged and aiming for better health for all is part of what we are all about. Also providing help, shelter, and support for vulnerable groups in disaster-prone communities is one of our major objectives that we are proud to be associated with.

What We Do

We promote good citizenship. Good citizenship is not just about following the law; it's about actively contributing to the betterment of society. We fight against female circumcision, also known as female genital mutilation (FGM), which is a deeply harmful practice that affects millions of girls and women worldwide.

Empowering the youth and unemployed through training and skills acquisition is one of our core functions. Youth unemployment remains a significant challenge globally. While traditional jobs may be limited, self-employment presents a powerful avenue for economic growth. Provision of accessible medical assistance is at the heart of one of our major objectives. Health is the foundation of a thriving community, but for many individuals in underserved populations, the cost of medical care, lack of healthcare infrastructure, and limited access to healthcare professionals make seeking treatment nearly impossible. Our help, shelter, and support program help to provide shelter for the vulnerable and less privileged. Disasters, whether natural or man-made, can strike without warning, leaving behind devastation and despair. In such times, vulnerable populations, especially the elderly, children, and orphans, are among the hardest hit. Providing help, shelter, and other essential facilities for these individuals in disaster-prone areas is not only a moral imperative but also a necessary step towards building resilient communities.
